Our Rich History
Margaretha Hugo School was founded under the vision of the Reformed Church in Zimbabwe (RCZ) to provide a rich academic environment built upon Christian morality. From its early foundations, the school recognized the need to support vulnerable children and integrate students who faced physical barriers to traditional schooling.
This led to the establishment of the school's historical milestone: the Specialized Program for the Visually Impaired. By training children in Braille, mobility, and vocational craft skills, the school became a regional center of hope. Over the decades, Margaretha Hugo School has expanded its classrooms, boarding facilities, and vocational projects, standing tall as a beacon of inclusive primary education in Masvingo and across Zimbabwe.
